Kirin Wetland For Vanke Town Sales Office
Kirin Wetland For Vanke Town Sales Office is an innovative architectural masterpiece that exemplifies the harmonious integration of built environment with natural wetland ecosystems, located in the NingHe District of Tianjin, China. Completed in 2018, this remarkable structure serves as a multifunctional space that combines the roles of an ecological art museum, water concert hall, and visitor reception center. The design, conceived by Wang Shaoqing, draws inspiration from the ancient Chinese legend of the Kirin, a mythical creature associated with prosperity and peace, interpreting this cultural narrative through contemporary architectural language. The building's distinctive feature lies in its seamless integration with the surrounding wetland environment, achieving a symbiotic relationship between architecture and nature. The structure employs a spiral design that ascends upward, incorporating natural growth patterns in its spatial organization, while its smooth, sleek exterior presents itself as an artistic installation within the landscape. The interior space showcases cutting-edge design elements, including an artistic projection device inspired by Van Gogh's starry sky, creating dynamic visual trajectories that enhance the experiential quality of the space. The project, which earned the Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a significant advancement in sustainable architectural design, featuring extensive use of glass curtain walls that frame views of the wetland landscape and create an immersive connection between indoor and outdoor environments. This architectural intervention serves as an urban oasis, offering a tranquil environment that combines natural elements with contemporary design sensibilities, ultimately establishing itself as a landmark destination that promotes ecological awareness and cultural appreciation.
