Kin Ju Japanese Resturant Japanese Restaurant is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary design elements. Completed in June 2017, this 7,080-square-foot establishment features a distinctive golden leaf tree planted within a Japanese-style garden, symbolically representing the restaurant's name Kin Ju (meaning Golden Tree). The interior space is characterized by a sophisticated color palette dominated by black and gold, complemented by lake blue accents in the seating areas that create an atmosphere of serenity and refinement. A central open sashimi and drinking bar serves as the restaurant's focal point, strategically designed to optimize workflow efficiency while enhancing spatial perception. The establishment incorporates custom-designed sliding doors that seamlessly integrate decorative elements with functionality, allowing for flexible space configuration and private dining areas. The project, which earned a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its material selection and spatial organization, accommodating up to 70 guests across various dining zones including a sushi bar, teppanyaki room, and three VIP rooms. The design successfully creates an immersive dining environment that balances luxury with functionality, featuring carefully curated elements that pay homage to Japanese craftsmanship while embracing modern design sensibilities.
