Kibardin Clock Digital LED Clock
Kibardin Clock Digital LED Clock is an innovative timepiece that represents a modern three-dimensional interpretation of traditional digital timekeeping, designed by Vadim Kibardin in 2011 and further refined in 2017. This sophisticated wall or desk clock features a minimalist aesthetic characterized by white LED digits encased in a streamlined ABS plastic housing available in either white or black finishes. The design philosophy emphasizes the concept of dematerialization, where the clock appears to dissolve into its environment while maintaining its essential timekeeping function. Distinguished by its precise dimensions of 285mm width, 110mm depth, and 35mm height, the clock incorporates advanced technological features including an intelligent light controller with a light-sensitive sensor that automatically adjusts digit brightness during darker hours. The device offers versatile functionality with both 12 and 24-hour display modes, date indication, and alarm capabilities. Its technical sophistication is complemented by thoughtful engineering, including a universal AC adapter supporting worldwide voltage standards (100-240V) and a generous 5-meter USB power cord for flexible placement. The clock's innovative design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Digital and Electronic Device Design category, acknowledging its contribution to contemporary timepiece design. This recognition highlighted the clock's excellence in combining aesthetic refinement with functional innovation, particularly noting its intelligent approach to ambient light adaptation and user-centric design considerations. The product represents a significant advancement in digital timepiece design, demonstrating how modern technology can be integrated into daily objects while maintaining visual elegance and practical utility.
