Kerloso Wine Packaging is an innovative and culturally significant wine packaging design that draws inspiration from the mysterious Moai statues of Easter Island, created by designer Langcer Lee. This sophisticated packaging concept employs natural imitation rice paper as its primary material, featuring unique flame-burned edges that create distinctive markings on each bottle, symbolizing lost civilizations and ancient mysteries. The design incorporates multiple layers of cultural and historical significance, depicting the initial encounters of navigators with Easter Island through detailed illustrations that showcase Moai statues, volcanoes, red lily of the valley, brown deer, and vultures. Standing approximately 35 centimeters in height, the packaging utilizes traditional elements such as straw rope bindings and authentic bluestone decorative elements that mirror the raw materials of the Moai statues themselves. The design, which won the prestigious Gold A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, from the carefully crafted seal featuring ancient Easter Island document contents to the thoughtfully integrated golden space allowing for personal expression.
