Kellipops Packaging is an innovative confectionery packaging design that exemplifies the fusion of nostalgic aesthetics with contemporary visual appeal, created by Greek designers Antonia Skaraki and Andreas Deskas. The design, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, draws inspiration from the Greek word 'keliphos' meaning 'shell' and combines it with the dynamic word 'pop' to create a compelling brand identity for chocolate-coated treats. The packaging design employs a sophisticated visual language inspired by 1960s pop art, featuring bold typography, vibrant contrasting colors, and a distinctive polka dot pattern arrangement of the product imagery. The central design element showcases a bisected product illustration, strategically incorporating a transparent section that allows visibility of the actual contents, while the background utilizes a rhythmic pattern of candy-coated spheres arranged in a retro-inspired array.
