Kardelen No30 Modern Villa

Kardelen No30 Modern Villa

Kardelen No30 Modern Villa is an exemplary modern residential architectural project completed in 2021, showcasing a sophisticated integration of contemporary design principles and functional spatial planning across three floors spanning 340 square meters. The villa, designed by Turkish interior architect Seda Kalac, demonstrates a holistic design approach that seamlessly blends aesthetic refinement with practical functionality. The project, which received recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, features a thoughtfully curated material palette combining state-of-the-art glossy ceramics, natural wooden parquet flooring, and innovative wall treatments. The ground floor encompasses an open-concept kitchen with pantry, living room, game room, and bathroom, while the second floor houses a master suite, children's bedroom with ensuite bathroom, home office, and laundry facilities. The attic level is transformed into a versatile space featuring a bedroom, bathroom, storage area, living space, kitchenette, and an expansive terrace. Notable design elements include the use of large-format 120x240cm ceramics at the entrance, integrated floor heating systems, and a sophisticated material palette dominated by dark tones balanced with warm cinnamon accents and oak wood details. Despite the challenges posed by global supply chain disruptions during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project successfully prioritized local materials while maintaining high design standards. The villa's design philosophy emphasizes timeless aesthetics, technological integration, and spatial efficiency, creating a harmonious living environment that caters to the specific needs of its four-member family occupants.
