Jinmao Luxuriance Club
Jinmao Luxuriance Club is an innovative interior design project spanning 1,830 square meters that exemplifies the seamless integration of natural elements within an urban underground space. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category represents a sophisticated approach to transforming subterranean spaces into vibrant, experiential environments. The design concept draws inspiration from the aesthetic narrative of fantastic forests, successfully translating outdoor natural elements into an indoor setting through the strategic use of materials such as Italian volcanic rock, acrylic resin, and extensive green plant walls. The space features a remarkable swimming pool area that creates an illusion of boundless connection with nature, complemented by super-long green plant walls that simulate a mountain-water symbiosis. The design overcomes the inherent challenges of underground spaces through innovative solutions, including the implementation of double-layer staggered sunset forest pattern painted glass light boxes in the reception hall, and environment-friendly water texture resin acrylic in corridor spaces. The club's design philosophy emphasizes the transformation from closed to open spaces, utilizing sophisticated material treatments that prioritize innovation, regeneration, and environmental sustainability. Notable features include the integration of indoor artificial natural backgrounds with outdoor landscapes, creating a seamless visual dialogue through corresponding Oriental screens. The project, completed in 2021, demonstrates exceptional attention to sustainable design practices, incorporating reusable materials and permanent simulated green plants, while providing an interactive platform focused on fitness and sports activities.
