Jettied Story
The jettied story, within the context of architecture, refers to a style of building where an upper floor or multiple floors overhang a lower floor. This type of construction is also known as a cantilever or a jutting out floor. It was popularized in the Middle Ages, particularly in England, as a way to make more efficient use of space. The most common material used to construct this style of building is timber. Jettied stories not only allowed people to maximize the space within their home, but also provided an aesthetically pleasing look that was especially popular in the Middle Ages.

Jettied Story
Masonry jettied stories are an architectural feature in which an upper floor is built with an overhang that projects beyond the face of the wall below. This type of architecture is often found in medieval and Tudor-style homes and buildings, and is characterized by the use of timber framing and masonry to create a structural support system that projects outwards. This style is often seen in European architecture and is used to create a decorative element, while also providing structural support. The jettied story can also be used to increase the amount of living space in a building, while providing an aesthetic appeal.
