Invasive Plant
Invasive plants are those species of flora which are not native to a specific area and have the capacity to spread rapidly, outcompeting native species for resources. Within the context of architecture, invasive plant species can have a significant impact on the local environment and can cause a disruption to the natural order of the ecosystem. They can cause a loss of biodiversity, changes to soil composition, and an increase in the number of pests and diseases. These plants can also create an imbalance in the food chain, leading to a decrease in the populations of native species and the disruption of local habitat.

Invasive Plant
Masonry is an ancient and timeless craft that has been used to construct some of the world's most iconic structures. Invasive plants, within the context of masonry, are defined as non-native plant species that can spread quickly and cause extensive damage to the surrounding landscape. These plants often have aggressive root systems that can weaken masonry foundations, leading to costly repairs and restorations. In addition, they can also grow atop the structures and damage the mortar, which can lead to the deterioration of the masonry.
