Icons Design
Icons Design is a design discipline focused on the visual representation of ideas, functions, and messages in a simplified form. It is a core component of any graphical user interface (GUI) which uses symbols to represent features and functions of a computer program. To be effective, icons must be designed to be recognizable and easily understood by viewers. It is important that the icon designer has a knowledge of color theory, typography, and composition to effectively convey the message to the user. The use of icons in interface design provides a concise way to quickly provide context and comprehend its message.
