ICON Breakfast Set Kettle, Coffee And Tea Machine, Toaster
ICON breakfast set Kettle, Coffee and Tea Machine, Toaster is an innovative collection of kitchen appliances that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary design aesthetics with natural forms and materials, specifically designed for modern elegant kitchens. This comprehensive breakfast set, which earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category, features a distinctive design language inspired by the perfect form of an egg, incorporating sculptural elements that create a cohesive and sophisticated appearance. The set comprises a filter coffee machine, kettle, long slot toaster, and tea maker, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail and functionality. The design's distinguishing features include a monolithic metallic handle inspired by leaf forms, which not only ensures ergonomic balance but also integrates LED indicators within its openings. The main body of each appliance consists of two primary components: a functional core housing the mechanical elements and the signature handle design. For water-containing units, borosilicate glass serves as the primary material, while touch-sensitive controls and information displays are thoughtfully positioned on the base of each product. The design process, which spanned from August 2012 to July 2013, involved extensive research into market trends, lifestyle analysis, and design language development, resulting in a product line that successfully merges technological innovation with natural aesthetics. The set's dimensions are carefully considered for optimal counter space utilization, with the coffee machine measuring 500 x 215 x 250 mm, the kettle at 280 x 190 x 218 mm, the tea maker at 525 x 190 x 220 mm, and the toaster at 325 x 130 x 180 mm, making it suitable for various kitchen configurations while maintaining its premium presence.
