Humanistic Intertwine Residential Space

Humanistic Intertwine Residential Space

Humanistic Intertwine Residential space is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of artistic expression and functional living space, completed in 2016 in HsinChu, Taiwan. This sophisticated 433.6-square-meter residence masterfully integrates various artistic elements, beginning with a sculptural Old Tree Roots installation at the entrance that serves as a prelude to the space's artistic narrative. The design philosophy emphasizes the seamless blend of craftsmanship and contemporary living, featuring custom metalwork that demonstrates the interplay between hard and soft linear elements, complemented by site-specific paintings that create unique textural dialogues within the space. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases a thoughtful material selection process incorporating benzene-free paint and formaldehyde-free boards to ensure a healthy living environment. The layout prioritizes communal living by allocating generous space to the living room, facilitating meaningful family interactions. The interior's aesthetic is characterized by a carefully curated minimalist approach where every texture plays a crucial role, from the warm, textured wallpaper at the entrance to the strategic positioning of wood grain throughout the space. A distinctive blue and green color palette evokes the tranquil atmosphere of mountain mists, creating a serene retreat for the residents. The project represents a significant achievement in residential design, demonstrating how artistic elements can be successfully integrated into daily living spaces while maintaining functionality and environmental consciousness.
