Hufeng Courtyard Model Villa
Hufeng Courtyard Model Villa is an exemplary residential interior design project that embodies the essence of contemporary Chinese architectural philosophy, harmoniously blending traditional aesthetics with modern living requirements. Located in Hangzhou, China, this 253-square-meter villa masterfully integrates elements of mountains, lakes, and clouds to create a serene living environment that pays homage to Southern China's poetic landscapes. The design's sophisticated spatial arrangement features a thoughtfully conceived public area in the underground space, while the ground floor accommodates an elegant living and dining area separated by six artistic glass screens that create a subtle interplay of space and light. The interior design employs premium materials including marble with water wave-like grain patterns, oak wood flooring, bronze-like stainless steel, and tinted sandalwood panels to craft a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese landscape paintings. Notable architectural elements include a modern Chinese-style staircase adjacent to the dining room, strategically placed elders' quarters on the ground floor with courtyard access, and a tranquil master bedroom that epitomizes peaceful living. Completed in October 2019, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its material selection, spatial planning, and aesthetic execution, creating an environment that successfully balances functionality with artistic expression.
