House Residential House

House Residential House

House Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project that embodies the principles of contemporary minimalist architecture through its sophisticated cubic volume and thoughtful material selection. The design, completed in 2012 in São Paulo, Brazil, demonstrates a masterful integration of raw industrial materials with refined interior elements, creating a harmonious living environment for a young family. The project's distinctive approach combines exposed concrete and perforated metal sheets in its structural composition while maintaining a delicate balance in its interior spaces through the extensive use of white surfaces complemented by richly textured, earthy reddish tones. The interior design philosophy manifests through custom-built furniture executed in formica, contributing to the overall purity of volumetric expression. A notable feature of the design is its floor treatment, where each room's floor plan serves as the primary decorative element, incorporating varied textures and patterns to create warm, inviting environments. The furniture and lighting selections represent a carefully curated fusion of contemporary and classic modern design elements, bridging Brazilian and European design traditions. This exceptional residential project, recognized with the Platinum A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases innovative space utilization and superior material selection while addressing the specific needs of its inhabitants - an executive father, designer mother, and their three children. The design's success lies in its ability to balance aesthetic sophistication with functional practicality, creating a living space that is both visually striking and comfortably habitable.
