House Of Line Array Interior Design

House Of Line Array Interior Design

House of Line Array Interior Design is an innovative residential interior design project completed in Singapore that exemplifies the sophisticated application of linear elements in spatial design. Created by Don Lin, this 1,300-square-foot apartment interior demonstrates a methodical approach to incorporating various line patterns throughout different zones of the living space. The design philosophy centers on the strategic array of linear elements, with each area featuring distinct line attitudes that create a cohesive yet dynamic spatial narrative. The layout is thoughtfully subdivided into four particular zones, beginning with twin vertical lines at the foyer that establish a modernist narrative, enhanced by mirror effects. The living and dining areas showcase an intricate interplay of shapes, colors, textures, and sizes, while the bedrooms employ angular collections and border frames to achieve a sense of comfort and intimacy. The project's material palette is carefully curated, featuring a core of white elements complemented by wood textures to break monotony, while carefully selected furniture pieces contribute to the overall atmospheric experience. This sophisticated approach to interior design, completed between July and September 2018, earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design approach. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, from the vertical alignment at the foyer to the intercross shapes in the living area, and from the angular dialogue in the bedroom to the outline border treatment in the master bedroom, creating a harmonious progression of spaces that exemplifies contemporary interior design principles.
