Home In The Cloud Residential

Home in the Cloud Residential is an innovative interior design project located in Guiyang, China, exemplifying contemporary living spaces through its sophisticated integration of smart technology and thoughtful spatial planning. Completed in January 2022, this 200-square-meter residence was meticulously designed to accommodate a family of four, featuring an open-concept layout that harmoniously connects public spaces with dedicated learning areas. The design philosophy emphasizes a nomadic learning approach, incorporating versatile spaces such as a study room, western kitchen, and teahouse that serve dual purposes as educational zones, fostering parent-child interaction and self-directed learning. The project's distinctive features include an advanced storage system providing over 90 cubic meters of carefully planned storage space, including customized solutions such as a transparent glass-framed cloakroom. The intelligent home automation system represents a cornerstone of the design, enabling comprehensive control of lighting, climate, appliances, and motorized elements via mobile devices. The spatial organization comprises three bedrooms with complete supporting functions and a centralized communal living area, incorporating both Chinese and Western kitchens, demonstrating cultural synthesis in modern residential design. This project, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2022, showcases exceptional attention to functional integrity while maintaining aesthetic sophistication through its simple yet refined design approach.
