Hisense International Center Office Display Model Room

Hisense International Center Office Display Model Room

Hisense International Center Office Display Model Room is an exemplary modern office space design located on the 24th floor of a prestigious business complex in Laoshan District, Qingdao, China, completed in May 2022. This innovative 1500-square-meter interior space project, designed by David Ma, masterfully integrates the surrounding coastal environment into its aesthetic concept, featuring panoramic views of mountains and sea that inform its sophisticated blue-based color palette. The design philosophy emphasizes flexibility and autonomy in the workplace, incorporating three distinct spatial configurations: social spaces, collaborative areas, and personal workstations, all seamlessly interconnected to foster dynamic interaction and productivity. The interior's material composition predominantly features aluminum, employed in various forms, textures, and finishes to create a layered, contemporary atmosphere that reflects modern workplace values. This sophisticated approach to material application contributes to the space's high-end aesthetic while maintaining functionality as both an office environment and marketing center. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a forward-thinking approach to workplace design where work is conceptualized as a state of mind rather than a fixed location. The design's success lies in its ability to balance practical office requirements with display functionality, creating an environment that promotes flexible communication and collaboration while maintaining a strong connection to its unique coastal setting through thoughtful design elements and material choices.
