The 600-square-meter venue, completed in 2016, comprises three distinct yet harmoniously connected spaces: an intimate dining room, a glass-enclosed sky-room, and an expansive terrace offering panoramic city views. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, masterfully addresses the challenge of connecting interior and exterior spaces through innovative architectural solutions, including an artificial skylight system that dynamically adjusts to balance natural and artificial illumination throughout the day. The sophisticated material palette features contrasting stone finishes, with grey-blue marble juxtaposed against Turkish white stone cladding, complemented by warm walnut wood accents and classic mid-century modern furniture upholstered in contemporary pastel fabrics. The venue's spatial planning revolves around a central bar that efficiently connects all three primary zones while serving as a focal point, with additional architectural features including a cantilevered fireplace and a sunken fire pit on the terrace that create dramatic visual anchors throughout the space. The design, influenced by architectural luminaries such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Eero Saarinen, and Van Der Rohe, represents a deliberate departure from industrial-chic trends, offering instead a refined, minimal retreat that caters to Shanghai's sophisticated clientele while maintaining operational efficiency through thoughtfully integrated service stations and kitchen facilities.
