Hidden In Wide Residence

Hidden In Wide Residence

Hidden In Wide Residence is an innovative residential interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of functionality and aesthetic excellence through its unique loop layout and thoughtful spatial organization. Located in Taiwan and completed in March 2023, this 218-square-meter dwelling spans two floors, masterfully integrating social and private spaces through a sophisticated circulation pattern that draws inspiration from the flowing nature of music. The design, created by Jian-Hui Wu, features a centrally positioned TV wall that serves as the core element around which various functional areas orbit, creating a highly independent yet interconnected spatial arrangement. The project's distinctive characteristics include its implementation of American-style architectural lines, a refined color palette dominated by pure white with warm wooden accents, and the strategic use of premium materials such as Silestone and stone plastic composite flooring. The first floor encompasses social areas including a living room, dining room, play area, and piano room, while the second floor houses private spaces such as the master bedroom, second bedroom, and dressing room. The design's excellence was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial planning and its successful resolution of complex architectural challenges, including the precise installation of a custom-designed slide using CNC technology. The project's sophisticated material selection and thoughtful consideration of lighting and ventilation contribute to creating an environment that balances aesthetic refinement with practical functionality.
