Hexa Light

Hexa Light

Hexa Light is an innovative architectural lighting system that combines geometric aesthetics with functional illumination, inspired by traditional Iranian architectural decorations, particularly the Girih patterns and miniature art forms. This modular lighting fixture consists of curved segments that represent one-third of a hexagon, enabling versatile spatial arrangements and expansive configurations. Each module is crafted from extruded aluminum with a U-shaped profile, bent at 120 degrees, incorporating LED illumination and a Plexiglas diffuser for optimal light distribution. The system's distinctive design allows for both broad ambient lighting and focused illumination, while its magnetic connection mechanism facilitates easy assembly, disassembly, and reconfiguration. The fixture can be installed in three different modes - surface-mounted, built-in, or suspended - offering exceptional flexibility in architectural applications. The design's geometric expansion capabilities enable designers to control both the direction and density of the lighting composition, creating transparent networks that preserve the visibility of ceiling surfaces. This innovative approach to architectural lighting, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates a sophisticated integration of traditional Persian geometric patterns with contemporary lighting technology, measuring 770mm in length per module, with a profile height of 40mm and width of 20mm.
