Hc Kaisa Sales Center is an innovative interior architectural project completed in 2020, representing a sophisticated transformation of a former kindergarten building into a multifunctional commercial space in Anhui, China. The 1,611-square-meter development exemplifies a thoughtful approach to adaptive reuse, featuring a meticulously planned two-story layout that harmoniously combines commercial functionality with experiential design elements. The first floor houses a brand culture center and a coffee book bar, while the second floor accommodates a product center focused on lifestyle integration. The design philosophy emphasizes sustainability and community engagement, moving beyond traditional sales-oriented spaces to create an environment that serves multiple purposes. The architectural intervention employs a minimalist geometric approach, utilizing the building's original rectangular form as a foundation for spatial exploration through fission effects, rotational elements, and strategic overlapping. The material palette predominantly features wood, creating an intimate atmosphere that balances professionalism with approachability. The project, which garnered a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases innovative solutions to structural challenges while maintaining future adaptability. The space's composition demonstrates sophisticated manipulation of both x-axis and y-axis elements, creating dynamic visual experiences through thoughtful material selection, including terrazzo and wood veneer, all executed within a remarkably efficient two-month timeline.
