Hatton Place Residential Apartment
Hatton Place Residential Apartment is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully balances natural elements with luxurious comfort in Hong Kong's Mid-Levels district. The design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, showcases a sophisticated transformation of a three-bedroom layout into a spacious master bedroom and study arrangement, specifically tailored for a modern professional couple. The project's distinctive concept draws inspiration from the striking contrast between the verdant Lung Fu Mountain backdrop and Hong Kong's urban skyline, creating a harmonious synthesis of nature and contemporary luxury. The interior features thoughtfully selected natural hues and unvarnished wood elements throughout, with strategic spatial planning that maximizes the connection to the surrounding environment. A signature design element includes an intricately crafted tree silhouette cut into a wooden panel at the entrance, serving as an artistic transition between exterior and interior spaces. The master bathroom demonstrates particular attention to detail, with the bathtub oriented to capture views of the surrounding greenery. The enlarged kitchen incorporates a sophisticated minibar-cum-breakfast area, complemented by a statement white marble dining table that serves as a focal point for entertaining. The study area features an innovative sliding tinted glass partition, maintaining visual connectivity while providing necessary privacy. This award-winning design exemplifies how contemporary residential spaces can successfully integrate natural elements with luxury finishes while maintaining functionality and aesthetic excellence.
