Harmony Nature House Residential
Harmony Nature House Residential is an award-winning architectural masterpiece completed in 2010, embodying the harmonious integration of nature, luxury living, and sustainable design principles. This four-story detached dwelling house, spanning 995 square meters including outdoor spaces, represents a sophisticated approach to contemporary residential architecture that prioritizes environmental consciousness and family-centered living. The design, conceived by David Lok and Renee Cheung, features distinctive elements such as a DJ booth, wine cellar, swimming pool with outdoor jacuzzi, and thoughtfully connected spaces including a gym room adjacent to an audio and game room. The project's environmental considerations are evident in its extensive use of sustainable materials and technologies, including solar panels, skylight windows, double-glazed windows and doors, and underfloor heating systems. Notable architectural features include impressive structural elements such as a 6-meter-long suspended solid old wood facade and a 3-ton solid wood stand at the indoor entrance. The interior design showcases carefully selected traditional materials, including premium old solid wood sourced from Thailand and Canada, demonstrating an exceptional commitment to quality craftsmanship. The residence's ceiling heights vary from 2.5 to 5.5 meters, creating dynamic spatial experiences that enhance the overall sense of openness and connection to nature. This exceptional residential project, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies how thoughtful architectural design can create spaces that support both environmental sustainability and modern family lifestyle needs.
