Ham Saye Apartment Apartment

Ham Saye Apartment Apartment

Ham Saye Apartment Apartment is an innovative residential architecture project located in Karaj, Iran, that exemplifies thoughtful urban housing design while addressing socioeconomic considerations and cultural preservation. Completed between 2014-2015, this architectural endeavor encompasses approximately 6,500 square meters distributed across six floors and two underground parking levels, distinguished by its unique approach to community-centered living spaces. The project, designed by Navid Emami and team, represents a significant advancement in affordable housing architecture, earning recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category. The design philosophy centers on preserving traditional Iranian neighborhood culture while delivering modern living standards, featuring communal spaces including a shared library and playground that foster social interaction. The building's distinctive white facade, created through an innovative blend of recycled local stones and cement, demonstrates sustainable material usage while maintaining aesthetic harmony with the surrounding environment. Notable architectural elements include carefully designed terraces functioning as gardens, abundant natural lighting, and modular systems that create diverse yet harmonious living spaces. The project successfully addresses the challenge of creating high-quality living environments in a low-income region by implementing cost-effective solutions without compromising architectural integrity. The design emphasizes functional originality, incorporating interior communal spaces with pleasant views, and employs a modular system for both facade and floor plans that reduces repetitive elements while maintaining visual cohesion. This architectural achievement demonstrates how thoughtful design can bridge the gap between affordable housing and quality living spaces while preserving cultural values.
