Hair Rods
Hair rods are a type of hair styling tool that are used to create curls or waves in the hair. They are typically made of plastic or foam and come in a variety of sizes and shapes, ranging from small and narrow to large and wide. Hair rods are often used in conjunction with a setting lotion or gel to help hold the curl in place. To use hair rods, the hair is first washed and conditioned, then towel-dried to remove excess moisture. A setting lotion or gel is applied to the hair, and then small sections of hair are wrapped around the hair rod, starting at the ends and rolling upwards towards the scalp. The hair rod is then secured in place with a clip or elastic band, and left in the hair until the hair is completely dry. Once the hair is dry, the hair rods are removed, and the hair is gently brushed or combed out to create soft, bouncy curls or waves. Hair rods are a popular styling tool for people with all hair types, but are particularly useful for those with fine or straight hair that is difficult to curl with other methods. They are also a great option for people who want to avoid using heat styling tools, as hair rods do not require any heat to create curls or waves.
