H2.O Drinking Water ATM is an innovative water purification system designed to provide safe drinking water in schools and small communities, particularly in areas affected by water contamination. This sophisticated technological solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Social Design category, represents a significant advancement in making water treatment technology accessible and user-friendly at a community level. The system's design philosophy centers on humanizing complex water purification technology through a thoughtful combination of serious functionality and playful aesthetics. Standing at 2253mm in height, with a width of 1676mm and depth of 1245mm, the unit features a robust construction utilizing exterior-grade powder-coated galvanized steel sheets, engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions and intensive public use. The design incorporates several innovative features, including push-type water dispensers with ergonomically positioned nozzles, part-openable side panels with gas spring hinges for easy maintenance access, and sophisticated locking mechanisms to ensure tamper-proof operation. The system's modular, weld-free assembly design facilitates easy transportation and on-site installation, while its carefully considered aesthetics combine highly reflective and matte surfaces to create an impressive presence that instills a sense of pride in community ownership.
