GuiDing Zodiac Old Tree Dissemination Of Oriental Culture
GuiDing Zodiac Old Tree Dissemination of oriental culture is an innovative packaging design project that masterfully integrates Chinese zodiac symbolism with traditional tea culture, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category. This sophisticated design concept, created by Bo Zheng in Shenzhen, China, represents a significant advancement in cultural preservation through contemporary design language. The project features an intricate packaging system for Yunnan black tea, utilizing hollow-cut designs that artfully depict the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac as ancient tea trees. The packaging, measuring 330x330x65mm, employs premium special paper materials enhanced with hot color gold stamping and embossing techniques to achieve a luxurious finish. The design's cultural significance lies in its ability to bridge traditional Chinese elements with modern aesthetic sensibilities, particularly through its thoughtful color selection representing traditional Lunar New Year symbolism. Each zodiac animal is rendered with distinct golden hues, creating a visually striking collection that serves both as a functional tea package and an artistic representation of Chinese cultural heritage. The project, completed in October 2016, demonstrates exceptional innovation in addressing the challenge of maintaining traditional cultural relevance in contemporary society, while simultaneously elevating the presentation of premium tea products through sophisticated design execution.
