GSI Technology Office is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies modern workplace architecture through its sophisticated integration of form and function. Located in Taichung, Taiwan, this 150-square-meter office space demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and innovative design solutions that prioritize both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. The design philosophy centers on a minimalist color palette dominated by black, white, and gray tones, complemented by strategic touches of night green that represent corporate identity. The space features extensive floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize natural light penetration and capitalize on panoramic views, while the interior architecture employs curved elements and linear vocabulary to create dynamic visual rhythm throughout. The project's material selection demonstrates a departure from traditional office aesthetics, utilizing plain tiles, plastic floors, HPL boards, and special paints, combined with varied textures including fabric, metal, stone, and iron pieces. The innovative lighting design integrates seamlessly between ceiling and cabinet elements, creating sophisticated shadow play and three-dimensional visual depth. The layout encompasses multiple functional zones including a reception area, work spaces, executive offices, meeting rooms, and leisure areas, all connected through thoughtfully planned circulation paths. Notable technical considerations include the implementation of fire-resistant and tempered glass partitions, environmental sustainability measures, and clever solutions for concealing mechanical systems despite ceiling height constraints.
