Grue Restaurant is an innovative architectural restoration project in downtown Belo Horizonte, Brazil, exemplifying sustainable design principles through adaptive reuse of an abandoned store space. The establishment, completed in 2015, represents a significant achievement in sustainable interior design, transforming a 120-square-meter two-story space into a distinctive dining venue. The restaurant's design philosophy centers on the extensive reuse of materials, incorporating elements from a 1947 demolished residential building to create furniture, panels, and fixtures.
