Growing Artistic Villa is an exemplary residential architectural project that masterfully integrates contemporary design principles with rustic aesthetics, completed in 2022 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. This multi-generational family residence, spanning six floors including an underground level and attic, showcases an innovative approach to vertical spatial organization while maintaining harmonious living spaces for three generations under one roof. The design, conceived by Xin Tong, emphasizes pure forms, rustic elements, and tranquil atmospheres through the thoughtful composition of geometric blocks and carefully selected materials. A distinguishing feature of the villa is its use of old solid wood boards, which introduces a wabi-sabi aesthetic and creates an authentic rustic atmosphere throughout the space.
