Greentown River Residential House is a sophisticated residential interior design project exemplifying contemporary Nordic-inspired modernism, completed in 2018 in Hangzhou, China. This 450-square-meter duplex apartment, designed by Jian Ding and Wenjing Wang, masterfully integrates functional spaces through thoughtful spatial planning and material selection. The design philosophy emphasizes the harmonious interplay between different living areas, utilizing vague spatial boundaries to create a fluid, interconnected environment that adapts to various lifestyle needs. The interior showcases a refined material palette, featuring Jazz white marble, warm fishbone-patterned wooden flooring, and a strategic combination of cement and wood wall treatments that create compelling contrasts between warm and cool elements.
