Grandblue Interior Design
Grandblue Interior Design is an award-winning interior architectural project that exemplifies the innovative transformation of corporate space through the sophisticated integration of oceanic elements and modern design principles. The project, completed in 2019 in Guangzhou, represents a significant advancement in commercial interior design by reimagining a previously fragmented space dominated by multiple entry points into a cohesive, welcoming environment. The design's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from maritime elements, incorporating wave patterns, diving motifs, and aquatic themes, while adhering to the principles of blue modern aesthetics. The centerpiece of the design features a striking white reception desk complemented by a monumental illuminated screen, which serves dual purposes as a brand showcase and a transitional element leading to a vibrant lounge area. The project's technical innovation is particularly evident in its ceiling design, which showcases a meticulously crafted curvilinear blue ribbon element, executed through precise aluminum fabrication and seamless integration with barrisol material. The design successfully navigates the complex requirements of state-owned enterprise guidelines while elevating the corporate environment through thoughtful spatial planning, material selection, and innovative architectural solutions. This project, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional achievement in transforming institutional constraints into design opportunities, resulting in a space that promotes workplace wellness and organizational efficiency through its fluid, accessible layout and carefully considered atmospheric elements.
