Glowing Pavilion Commercial Office is an innovative commercial interior design project that masterfully integrates traditional Chinese teahouse aesthetics with modern corporate functionality, situated in the cultural district of Shanghai Songjiang. The 3000-square-foot space features a distinctive architectural centerpiece that serves as both a visual focal point and a functional division of spaces, characterized by its impressive 6500mm ceiling height and sophisticated lighting design. The project's conceptual framework draws inspiration from Shanghai's rich teahouse heritage, reimagining these cultural elements through a contemporary lens while maintaining professional sophistication. The design incorporates reinterpreted traditional screens adorned with engraved acrylic panels, delicate metal detailing, and full-length Chinese landscape artwork, creating a dynamic interplay between light and shadow. The space planning demonstrates exceptional consideration for workflow and user experience, featuring a seamless pathway that connects various functional areas including the reception, lobby lounge, pre-function lounge, and conference room. A notable design element is the semi-enclosed teahouse area, which facilitates casual business interactions and collaborative engagements in an welcoming atmosphere. The conference room is particularly noteworthy for its custom-designed center island that enhances presenter-audience interaction. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in spatial innovation through its thoughtful integration of cultural elements, natural components, and commercial requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on functionality and aesthetic appeal.
