Gentle Messages Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of light industrial aesthetics with comfortable workspace design, completed in 2018 in Taipei City. This 100-square-meter office space represents a paradigm shift in contemporary workplace design, deliberately moving away from traditional corporate aesthetics to create an environment that fosters creativity and comfort while maintaining professional functionality. The design philosophy centers on creating a home-like atmosphere within a professional setting, achieved through thoughtful spatial organization that includes distinct zones for reception, client meetings, collaborative work, storage, and relaxation areas. The material palette demonstrates sophisticated versatility, incorporating tiles with metal trim detailing, creating mosaic-like effects that blend modern sensibilities with American-style elements, while the strategic use of OSB board introduces raw, organic textures. Natural lighting plays a crucial role in the design scheme, facilitated by careful material selection and spatial arrangement that allows for optimal light distribution throughout the space. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, is particularly noteworthy for its elimination of excessive ornamentation in favor of clean, minimalist design elements that create an expansive visual field through the predominant use of white surfaces complemented by delicate marble patterns. The design successfully balances functional requirements with aesthetic considerations, incorporating separate regions for various business activities while maintaining a cohesive, flowing layout that promotes both productivity and comfort.
