Gemtree Club Leisure Space is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies modern minimalist aesthetics combined with genteel sophistication, realized across 200 square meters of thoughtfully curated space. The design, conceived and executed by Zuling Weng and Baolin Cai, masterfully integrates Chinese cultural elements with European wine culture, creating a harmonious synthesis of East and West. The space features a distinctive cascading staircase structure that breaks from traditional design conventions, establishing a dynamic rhythm throughout the interior. Large transparent French windows in the reception area create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, incorporating natural greenery as an extension of the interior design. The space is characterized by its innovative use of wine-red artistic paint treatments throughout the clubhouse, creating a mellow and elegant atmosphere. Notable design elements include an arc-shaped wine cabinet that extends from the facade to the ceiling, complemented by linear light belts that enhance spatial depth perception. The design incorporates sophisticated elements such as wooden grating partitions with precise geometric patterns, creating a delicate balance between privacy and openness. The wine tasting area showcases minimalist practicality, featuring red brick carved walls and classic gesso disc patterns that frame a warm fireplace setting. This exceptional design was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to contemporary interior design practice and its successful integration of functional requirements with aesthetic excellence.
