Gelin Mansion Sales Office
Gelin Mansion Sales Office is an exemplary architectural interior design project that masterfully integrates modern aesthetics with oriental cultural elements, situated in Yingde City, Guangdong Province, China. This 624-square-meter space represents a sophisticated approach to commercial interior design, where the careful selection of materials, including mountain-pattern and ice-white marble, creates an atmosphere that balances professionalism with warmth. The design, conceived by Yu Chao and Guanghui Zeng, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning across two floors, incorporating an intelligently positioned staircase that maintains the flow and functionality of the space. The interior's distinctive character emerges from the harmonious interplay of straight lines and curves, complemented by light-colored wood finishes and thoughtfully designed illumination that creates a welcoming, home-like ambiance. The project's success lies in its ability to transcend typical minimalist approaches by incorporating rich textural elements and avoiding conventional color schemes, resulting in a space that resonates with both contemporary aesthetic sensibilities and traditional Chinese cultural values. The design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and material selection. The sales office serves as a sophisticated environment where potential buyers can explore residential offerings, featuring comprehensive construction plans and consultation areas, all while experiencing an atmosphere that reflects the natural beauty and simple lifestyle characteristic of its location. The project, completed over a three-month construction period following 45 days of design work, exemplifies how commercial spaces can successfully blend functionality with artistic expression, creating an environment that both serves its commercial purpose and provides an engaging aesthetic experience.
