Gathering Night Club
Gathering Night Club is an innovative interior design project located in Foshan, Guangdong, China, that reimagines the traditional nightclub concept by incorporating elements inspired by the Palace of Versailles and environmental consciousness. Designed by Bocheng Lv, this 1,097-square-meter multifunctional space represents a sophisticated fusion of entertainment venues, including a swimming pool, bar, KTV, and restaurant areas, primarily serving as a distinctive venue for wedding celebrations and social gatherings. The design philosophy emphasizes environmental sustainability through the careful selection of materials, utilizing Dulux paint, metal bricks, and rock slabs instead of conventional fired materials to reduce environmental impact. The space's architectural ingenuity is particularly evident in its creative adaptation of irregular floor levels and height differences, transforming potential constraints into engaging spatial experiences that enhance visitor interaction. Distinguished by its unique atmospheric design, the club employs varying color schemes and geometric forms to create distinct experiential zones, allowing guests to traverse through different emotional landscapes within the commercial setting. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design, demonstrates exceptional innovation in addressing the entertainment needs of its urban context, particularly serving professionals from nearby medical, legal, and accounting offices. Its versatile functionality enables both specialized wedding entertainment services and independent operation of its various facilities, establishing a new paradigm for sustainable, multifunctional entertainment spaces in commercial districts.
