Fyrn Stemn Flat Pack Furniture
Fyrn Stemn Flat pack furniture is an innovative furniture system that revolutionizes the concept of flat-pack furniture through its patented bracket technology and sustainable manufacturing approach. This Silver A' Design Award-winning design seamlessly combines the structural strength of metal with the warmth of wood and upholstery, creating a collection of chairs and stools that challenge traditional perceptions of assembled furniture. The system employs a proprietary connecting bracket that enables high-end furniture to ship flat while maintaining exceptional durability and structural integrity. Developed through extensive research and iterative design processes beginning in 2012, this furniture system represents a significant advancement in sustainable furniture design, featuring customizable elements including wood finishes in charcoal black, oxidized oak, or blond oak, various bracket finishes, and optional upholstery in natural leathers or synthetic materials. The collection includes standard chairs, counter stools, bar stools, and backless variants, all designed with precise dimensions to ensure optimal ergonomic comfort. The manufacturing process, established in San Francisco, emphasizes local production and environmental responsibility through the use of North American hardwoods and recyclable packaging. The design's innovative approach to assembly creates an intuitive and satisfying user experience, while its repairable nature promotes longevity and challenges disposable culture. This furniture system, recognized by the A' Design Award competition for its excellence in furniture design, demonstrates exceptional achievement in combining aesthetic appeal, functional innovation, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
