Fuyi River Sales Center Showroom / Office
Fuyi River Sales Center Showroom / Office is an innovative architectural masterpiece that exemplifies contemporary commercial design through its distinctive integration of form and function. The structure features a sophisticated three-story grey glazed volume complemented by a sequence of double-curved white coated metallic panels, creating a dynamic visual presence that harmoniously connects with its urban context. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms of seashells, the building's curvilinear design establishes a powerful architectural statement while maintaining practical functionality. The metallic panels, precisely engineered at 6mm thickness, demonstrate a nonlinear rhythm in both width and pitch, facilitating controlled natural illumination for interior spaces while enhancing the occupants' spatial experience. The facade's composition, utilizing 8mm tempered grey glass, creates an interplay between transparency and privacy, effectively balancing the need for visibility with discretion. The overall massing strategically maximizes its street frontage, extending continuously toward the rear of the property to optimize spatial utilization. This architectural achievement, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, represents a harmonious blend of aesthetic innovation and practical commercial space design. The project, completed in 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan, demonstrates exceptional integration of contemporary architectural elements while maintaining a strong connection to its surroundings, effectively serving its dual purpose as both a showroom and office facility.
