From The Nature Showroom, Retail is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious tension between nature and human consumption, realized in a 105-square-meter retail space. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning showroom, completed in 2012, represents a sophisticated architectural narrative where natural elements resist and transcend human intervention. The design's central concept manifests through the dramatic interplay of natural wood breaking free from concrete constraints, ascending toward a blue ceiling that symbolizes the sky. This vertical movement creates a net-like envelope throughout the space, metaphorically expressing resistance to human touch while complementing the casual footwear displayed within. The showroom's distinctive features include a 4-millimeter transparent epoxy floor coating that simulates an intensive water layer, symbolizing nature's life-giving properties. The installation incorporates Mouette simmetrica lighting fixtures that evoke bird-like forms, adding dynamic movement to the space. The walls feature exclusive visual designs that comment on environmental pollution, creating a thought-provoking dialogue between commercial space and ecological consciousness. The project successfully overcomes multiple technical challenges, including complex manufacturing coordination and precise budget management, while maintaining its artistic integrity.
