Free Walker Overpass
Free Walker Overpass is an innovative architectural infrastructure project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of functionality, aesthetics, and universal accessibility in urban design. This pedestrian and cycling bridge, distinguished by its revolutionary single-pier support system, represents a significant departure from conventional overpass design through its aircraft-inspired sculptural form. The structure, completed in 2018, employs a sophisticated combination of reinforced concrete base and steel frame construction, finished with fluorocarbon-painted steel plating, spanning an impressive 58,000mm in length, 3,500mm in depth, and reaching 8,700mm in height.
