Fortune A15 Duplex Apartment

Fortune A15 Duplex Apartment

Fortune A15 Duplex Apartment is an exemplary residential design project that showcases modern minimalist architecture and sophisticated interior design, situated across two levels spanning 500 square meters in Mumbai, India. This meticulously crafted duplex apartment, designed by architect Naved Patel, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and innovative design solutions, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The east-facing residence features five bedrooms distributed across its two floors, connected by a sculptural staircase distinguished by its motion-sensor lighting and innovative tensioned metal wire railing system. The lower level encompasses a formal living area, kitchen, dining space, guest room, powder room, and a master suite, while the upper floor houses two daughter bedrooms and a versatile media room that doubles as a family lounge. The interior design philosophy embraces a sophisticated material palette, including two-tone stone flooring combining leatherette and polished finishes, custom-designed suspended track lighting, and distinctive accent walls featuring mirror mosaics and three-dimensional patterns. The project's attention to detail extends to its thoughtful incorporation of natural light, custom furniture pieces, and carefully curated artwork, all working in harmony to create a cohesive aesthetic experience. Notable design elements include the entrance's dramatic mirror mosaic wall in black, bronze, and grey tones, the living room's distinctive burnt terracotta backdrop, and the innovative use of sliding pocket doors to maintain spatial flow. The apartment's design successfully addresses structural challenges while maximizing space utilization and maintaining a luxurious ambiance, completed in 2024 after a comprehensive year-long execution process.
