Folding Wedges
Folding wedges are a type of tool used in traditional masonry and construction work. The tool is designed to quickly and effectively secure and hold a wide range of materials, from bricks and stones to tiles, in place. The wedge is composed of two flat and solid pieces of metal which are connected at one end and held together by a hinge. The hinged end is then inserted into the material to be secured and the flat ends of the wedge are then folded together, thus creating a secure fit. The wedge is then secured in place with a hammer or mallet. Folding wedges are a versatile tool which can be used to secure materials in any position, and can also be used to hold items in place while more permanent fixtures are being installed.
