FLUSH Push Button

FLUSH Push Button

FLUSH Push Button is an innovative architectural bathroom fixture designed by Christos Tsigaras that revolutionizes the traditional concept of cistern activation through its seamless, frameless integration with contemporary bathroom aesthetics. This sophisticated sanitary ware component, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category, exemplifies minimalist design principles through its clean lines and unframed construction. The push button, crafted from high-quality aluminum with chrome, satine, and glossy finish options, measures 200mm in width, 120mm in height, and maintains a slim 20mm depth profile, making it an elegant solution for modern bathroom installations. The design's distinguishing characteristic lies in its ability to achieve perfect alignment with bathroom surfaces, eliminating the traditional framed appearance common to conventional flush mechanisms. This architectural integration was achieved through precise prototyping and manufacturing processes, utilizing advanced mold technology for aluminum formation. The product represents a significant advancement in bathroom fixture design, addressing contemporary architectural specifications while maintaining functional efficiency. Its development was driven by a methodical design process that prioritized both aesthetic harmony and practical utility, resulting in a product that seamlessly merges with other bathroom elements while providing intuitive user interaction. The design's success lies not only in its visual appeal but also in its ability to overcome complex manufacturing challenges through innovative production techniques, demonstrating how industrial design can elevate everyday objects to sophisticated architectural elements.
