Flowing Curve Complex Building

Flowing Curve Complex Building is an innovative architectural complex designed by Yun Du, embodying the dynamic spirit of modern urban transit infrastructure through its distinctive flowing lines and functional integration. The complex, completed in 2017, encompasses a total planning area of 67,278 square meters and serves as a multifunctional facility that harmoniously combines office spaces, staff accommodations, and auxiliary facilities. The architectural design draws inspiration from subway culture, interpreting the linear, speed-oriented characteristics of metro systems into its structural form and spatial organization. The building's exterior features a sophisticated combination of white aluminum panels and ultra-white glass curtain walls, creating a visual representation of movement and modernity. The complex is strategically divided into two main sections: a high-rise structure on the western side that serves as an iconic architectural element, and an eastern section housing dormitories and police station facilities, maintaining both connectivity and functional independence. The design's emphasis on horizontal lines creates an ordered aesthetic that reflects both elegance and dynamism, while its innovative approach to integrating transit-oriented design elements earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, recognizing its contribution to architectural excellence and cultural expression. The building's sophisticated spatial arrangement accommodates diverse functions including office spaces, a canteen, storage facilities, a multifunction hall, an indoor badminton court, staff dormitory, and police station, all while maintaining a cohesive architectural language that celebrates the intersection of transportation infrastructure and contemporary urban design.
