Flow Sale Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of flowing water aesthetics with contemporary spatial design. Located along Tianfu Avenue in Chengdu, this 2,000-square-meter sales and exhibition space represents a sophisticated approach to community-focused commercial architecture. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, is distinguished by its dynamic interpretation of fluid motion through architectural elements. The facility's most striking feature is its sculptural curved walls, crafted from Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GRG), which emulate water ripples to create a sense of continuous movement throughout the space. The entrance is marked by an artistic light cube installation suspended over water, serving as both a visual anchor and a social media-worthy focal point. The interior program is thoughtfully distributed across two levels, with the ground floor housing reception and display areas, while the second floor accommodates a sand table model display, conversation areas, and construction method exhibitions. The design's innovative use of GRG material enables the creation of fluid spatial forms that minimize traditional wall divisions while maximizing display opportunities. The project's strategic positioning takes advantage of natural park and river views to the north, particularly in the negotiation areas, demonstrating a careful consideration of site context. Completed in October 2020, this project stands as a testament to the successful merger of artistic vision with functional commercial space, shaping the image of a future-oriented urban environment through its innovative approach to spatial design and material application.
