FLOW LINE Office Building

FLOW LINE Office Building is an innovative architectural interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of form and function through its distinctive curved aesthetic and thoughtful spatial organization. Located in Guangzhou, China, this 500-square-meter office space masterfully addresses the challenges presented by an irregular building layout through the creative application of flowing linear elements. The design concept draws inspiration from traditional Chinese beliefs about water's association with prosperity, transforming this cultural element into a sophisticated system of dynamic lines that define both circulation and departmental organization. The space is strategically divided into three primary functional zones: a lobby and reception area, a conference room, and a coffee shop, all connected by a fluid circulation path that doubles as the main entrance. The interior's material palette combines premium finishes including African spot veneers, Noce travertine, hairline stainless steel, glass, acrylic, and fluorocarbon paint, creating a refined aesthetic that reflects the financial industry context of its investment consulting company occupant. A particularly notable feature is the integration of six distinctive lines representing different departments, which flow from ceiling to floor, culminating in the chairman's room where illuminated sandblasted acrylic bookcases create a striking visual focal point. The chairman's authority is further emphasized through a sophisticated U-shaped platform crafted from coffee travertine. This exceptional design, created by Kris Lin, was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and aesthetic achievement.
