Flooro Flat Woven Airline Carpeting
Flooro Flat Woven Airline Carpeting is an innovative textile flooring solution specifically engineered for the aviation industry, representing a significant advancement in aircraft interior design through its revolutionary high-tech weaving system. This groundbreaking carpet design, which earned the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Textile, Fabric, Textures, Patterns and Cloth Design category, distinguishes itself through its remarkably dense weave structure, utilizing over 34 threads per centimeter compared to the conventional 15 threads, resulting in a flat, compact textile surface that achieves a 30-70 percent weight reduction while maintaining exceptional durability. The carpet's composition incorporates 50 percent recycled Econyl yarns, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental sustainability while meeting rigorous aviation safety standards. Developed through extensive research and technological innovation, this specialized flooring system features a unique 140-centimeter width format available in customized endless rolls, optimizing installation efficiency and reducing logistics costs. The design's revolutionary weaving technique creates a distinctive aesthetic that bridges the gap between traditional carpeting and modern flooring materials, while its reduced material usage and lighter weight contribute significantly to aircraft fuel efficiency. This innovative approach to airline carpeting, which emerged from a comprehensive development process spanning from 2013 to 2017, represents a paradigm shift in aviation interior design, combining practical functionality with environmental consciousness and contemporary aesthetics.
