FIRST COLOUR Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the sophisticated integration of color psychology and functional workspace planning, completed in November 2016 in China. This 200-square-meter office space demonstrates a masterful approach to contemporary workplace design, featuring a distinctive architectural element of a pure white marble staircase suspended between two rainbow-colored elements, creating a natural spatial division between reception and staff areas. The design concept draws inspiration from textile color samples, ingeniously incorporating this chromatic diversity into the architectural vocabulary through the use of ceramic tiles, colorful toughened glass, and linoleum materials. The two-story space encompasses carefully planned functional zones, including a reception area, conference facilities, sample exhibition space, open work areas, and executive offices, all unified through a cohesive color strategy that reflects the corporate identity while maintaining professional aesthetics. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases exceptional space optimization within its dual-loft configuration, addressing complex programming requirements while maintaining a harmonious flow between different functional areas. The innovative design solution effectively manages the challenge of integrating multiple workplace requirements within a limited footprint, creating a dreamlike atmosphere through the strategic use of color transitions that extend from the ground floor to the upper level.
