Firenze Obra Blanca 2019 Tile Exhibition is an innovative architectural exhibition design project that masterfully explores the interplay between light and darkness to create an immersive sensory experience for showcasing ceramic and porcelain tiles. Conceived and executed by Mexican designer Diego Hernandez, alongside team members Patricia Ahumada and Abigail Marin, this 16000 mm x 14000 mm exhibition space was unveiled in Mexico City during October 15-17, 2019. The design's philosophical foundation rests on the fundamental duality of light and darkness, treating illumination not merely as a visual element but as a symbolic medium that engages with viewers' psychological and imaginative faculties. The exhibition's carefully orchestrated layout features a defined route that guides visitors through the space, while its physical characteristics are strategically designed to emphasize the inherent beauty of the displayed products.
